Tonight's maintenance is now complete. Thanks for your patience whilst we carried out this important work to keep you safe!

Additional security updates for File Sanctuary Cloud

Further to last night's updates, we will be performing additional updates tonight, Wednesday, May 15, 2019, between 18:00 and 19:00 BST. There will be brief periods when Cloud Servers, Web and Email Hosting accounts, and our customer portal become temporarily unavailable.

We do not expect any service to be down for the entire maintenance window, most services will only go down for a few minutes before they come back online.

Security update for File Sanctuary Cloud (complete)

Tonight's maintenance is now complete. Due the nature of this security issue there may be some additional short-notice security updates in the coming weeks. Our vendors are continuing to work on patches to resolve this issue and we will need to apply those patches as they become available.

Security update for File Sanctuary Cloud

In response to the MDS security issues recently reported in Intel CPUs (CVE-2018-12126, CVE-2018-12127, CVE-2018-12130, CVE-2019-11091), we will be performing critical security updates to the File Sanctuary Cloud, as well as additional critical updates to managed Cloud Servers. We will be applying these updates tonight, on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 21:00 BST onwards. There will be brief periods when Cloud Servers, Web and Email Hosting accounts, and our customer portal become temporarily unavailable.

We do not expect any service to be down for the entire maintenance window, most services will only go down for a few minutes before they come back online.

For customers with unmanaged Cloud Servers: to stay safe you will need to take action yourself to ensure you have the latest Linux kernel patches installed. You will then need to reboot your Cloud Servers.

We apologise for the short notice of this maintenance window, and we ask that you please be patient with us while we take immediate action to keep you safe.
