Scheduled Maintenance
Capacity and performance improvements for File Sanctuary Cloud

On Thursday, July 27, 2017 we will be performing maintenance to the File Sanctuary Cloud between the hours of 18:00 and 19:00 BST, to allow us to increase capacity and improve performance. This work will involve us going through each node in our cloud, shutting down all Cloud Servers on that node, making the necessary changes, and then starting all the Cloud Servers on that node again. As a result, there will be brief periods when Cloud Servers, Web and Email Hosting accounts, and our customer portal become temporarily unavailable. We do not expect any service to be down for the entire maintenance window.

Intermittent network issues for some Cloud Servers (resolved)

The PCIe ASPM change has been applied. Hopefully that will prevent the issue from recurring but we will continue to monitor the situation. If it recurs again we will look at replacing the network adapter with a different one.

Intermittent network issues for some Cloud Servers (update)

A prior kernel upgrade did not resolve the issue, so we're applying a change disabling PCIe Active State Power Management on node06 as this may resolve the issue. This will require another node reboot, things should be back within about 15 minutes.

Intermittent network issues for some Cloud Servers

Cloud Servers on node06 are currently experiencing intermittent network issues. We're investigating.
